The cost of registering a  .cn domain name

Attention: .cn-registration using our local presence may not be hosted in China. Next to that, the local presence does take care of all other restrictions on .cn-registration, so anyone can register a Chinese domain name using our local presence.

Normal registration for foreign companies (not using local presence) are only possible for multi-national entities that have a China Branch.

Definition China Branch: international companies, enterprises and organizations that operate a wholly owned or share controlling entity in China, including a branch, a subsidiary or a representative office with same 'name' as the parent entity. The person / employee submitting the application on behalf of the registrant (the entity), must be a Chinese citizen and must have a valid PRC personal ID.

The complete application material has to include 3 parts: - the original application form of CNNIC stamped with business seal of the registrant - company business license (photocopy) - registrant ID (photocopy) of the person submitting the application on behalf of the company
